Instead of converting the profits into GVT for investors, The investor should have the option to get paid in the base currency of the program to prevent also profits lost through conversion.
If the manager operates a program with no investors and loses their own money, no harm is done. However, if the manager loses investor's risk capital, then that manager needs to recover the losses no matter what. In order to prevent platform abuse, we must have a Global High watermark system that tracks the losses that an investor occurs on every manager. If the investor exits one program to only join another program from that same manager, the losses from Program #1 MUST be carried over to program #2 .
If the platform does not incorporate a global high watermark system , then managers have the advantage over the investor. The manager can simply close the program and make a new one creating a clean slate.
I investee 20 GVT. Got profit twice and a withdraw. So I invested 20 GVT, got 2.72 GVT profit and a withdraw of 2.656.
So that makes a total of 5,376 GVT which I’ve received after invested. What happened to the other GVT? Was that a loss?
- As you can see now I have to calculate it myself. That must be clear in a blink of an eye;
- Please make it more clear what you’ve invested in a program, what the profit and loss was;
- Instead of only a transaction list, there should be an overview of all running and completed programs you’ve invested in. When you click that program you’re seeing the stats of invested/profit/loss.
If a trader has been inactive for a period of time they should have their program suspended. I don't know how the threshold should be determined but it doesn't seem fair for a trader to be taking entry fees and even losing investors money because they've stopped trading.
The total profit in GVT should be changed to the Return on Investment percentage because the value of GVT has no significance since each program has its own value of AUM.
A trader with 100 gvt making 10% monthly would show 10GVT of profit while another trader managing 1000gvt making 10% monthly would show 100GVT. The difference in the ROI are the same and the value of GVT returned has no significance from the investors point of view.
It would be best to also show the Total ROI on the entire investment AND include the monthly ROI%
such as 100%ROI / 5%monthly
I can invest into a manager and i will get his tokens. I have invested in Manager1 and Manager2. I have 404,6 tokens of Manager1 and 6 tokens of Manager2. Can i see hows their token valuated in GVT/USD ?
Because now i have no clue about whats my porfolio worth in any manager i have invested in and i have no clue how much are their coins worth and what value im holding.
I believe the platforms should not only limit the total number of programs a manager could open (which of course could be an increasing number conditional on the manager's level), but also specify some minimum time spans. More specifically, a manager should not be able to open a program, collect entry fees from investors, close the program, and shortly open a new program.
Please be informed that we are not planning to limit managers in creating new programs, but we have updated the leveling system in order to protect investors. You can find additional information in our blog - https://blog.genesis.vision/genesis-vision-update-a-level-up-d01ef51c42a
fxopen PAMM has a nice feature where an agent can raise capital for the managers and earn a portion of the fees. It would be a great marketing tool to enable this feature for GVT platform.
We have investors and managers by default. Enabling agents would be a virtual part for the growth of the platform.
Lets say for example a manager has a limit of 500 GVT.
If the First person to invest invests 400 GVT
the Second Person Invests 150 GVT
and the Third Person Invests 100
Total of 650 GVT wanting to invest
How will this get get allocated?
Or will there be a sort of "averaging" effect? 500/650=.769
Where First person gets 307 invested
Resulting in a total of 500 invested from 3 different people.
Hello! Investment requests are processed on a first come, first served basis. In future, you won't be able to make an investment request if the manager doesn't have available tokens. But you will be able to subscribe to any program you like and get notifications if available tokens appear.
A common question comes up with investment platforms, " Are investors making money". It's hard to answer because every investor enters and exits programs during different periods. Therefore, every investor will have their own story.
My suggestion is to add up all the Profits or Losses from all the manager's programs and showcase the overall PNL within the managers profile and or within each of their programs.
