If the managers profits are locked from withdrawals for another investment period this could ensure the best interest for the investors long term.
Some managers make a big profit, restart the period to collect their share then to often enough the next period results in a big loss.
Please be informed that we are not planning to lock or limit managers' funds in the future. Manager can invest his/her funds in creating a new trading program, this, in turn, could bring more profits to investors. Nevertheless, we would like to thank you for your suggestion and for your cooperation. We appreciate it very much!
I am using GV as a manager.
I just realised that I can submit a withdraw request multiple times even if total withdraw amount is more than my investment.
As you can see in the first image below, max amount is 0.03274912BTC
My total investment is 0.08202914BTC. I submitted withdraw request multiple times. Then pending amount became 0.91720869BTC which is higher than my total investment.
I waited for the period restart to see if they will be processed. None of the was processed.
Withdraw requests should be checked before submit if there is available amount to withdraw.
Good job adding closed programs to the manager's profile.
However the current display doesn't do much. We don't need the 7 day return of a program that's been closed for 2 months.
We need the returns of the lifetime of the program up until it closed. Even the 'all time' display shows 0% return because it technically started at 0 BTC and ended with 0 BTC. It needs to be easier for investors to see how the program performed
It's also not immediately clear which programs are closed. The program profile displays exactly the same. There need to be a clear indication that the program is no longer active and an easy way to see the performance of the program throughout its lifetime. Why are closed program still indicating trading periods?
It would be nice, particularly on longer programs (30+ days) if there was a 1 or 2 hour window where the space in the program generated by withdrawn funds can be filled by investors without the manager resetting the program a second time or leaving potential investors waiting for up to 90 days.
Some guy is creating dozens of funds with ripple so that he shows up in the first page. All funds have 10% entry, 10% exit, this is a marketing strategy to get investors in and kind of an unfair tactic, he is exploiting your system. How is he exploiting your system and possible investors ? Because if I create a fund now it shows 1 week behind profits and amateur investors will invest in the first funds that they see in the page paying a 10% entry and 10% exit fee. I know the information is out there, but people usually do mistakes. Ripple was the most stable in this crash so that's why he does that, it dropped a few cents in USD value and gained a lot in satoshi value
As a fund manager I find it off putting that when GVT introduces more coins, I will have to close my fund or buy another 50GVT to create a new program to add those coins. It would be nice to be able to edit my allocations/coins.
I was told that if a fund was allowed to edit coins it would be unfair to people who are invested. Which is true, but I propose an option for an investor to manually/automatically withdraw their tokens from a fund (for free or at a reduced exit fee) if the mananger changes the fund allocation.
So when someone has gvt invested in a fund and the manager edits the fund allocations, the person will receive a notification and either manually withdraw the investment at a reduced or free rate, or have set up an automatic rule (if manager edits allocations in X/Y/Z ways then withdraw investment at reduced or free rate.)
I think this would be a great addition to the platform, as it allows freedom and fairness to both fund manangers and investors.
Thank you for the valuable feedback. You can find some information here: https://blog.genesis.vision/genesis-vision-network-10bf3e749688
Nevertheless, we will tell our team regarding this problem to figure out a mechanism.
Imagine this scenario:
You invest 10 GVT in a manager
The manager losses a little bit BTC, maybe 1%
But GVT price went down by 30%.
Period ends, my reinvest button is off, got no profits even though my initial GVT investment is now worth 13 GVT.
This scenario is really bad. It happened to me today.
You see, people are investing their GVT and they expect profits in GVT. If I only pay entry fee and get no profits it makes the platform a lose lose situation. Please look into this deeply
Hi, the purpose of the platform is trusting a professional to trade for me. At the moment, when I request to invest I do not know how much GVT my manager will get, as the conversion happens at the moment I request to join a program, and my money is converted without any pro trader taking care of it.
I believe it is better to let investors choose whether to have the conversion only when funds are accepted and safu in the program. People are taking risks just because they want to early buy into a manager, but they are forced to gamble on their GVT for that instead of having a manager take care of it all the way.
When I made my programs my GVT is converted into BTC and the a bitcoin amount is deposited into my trading account within a few minutes. I would like to see a more transparent method for this process such as including the actual conversion rate ( Like a Quoted amount) from GVT to Bitcoin including the 0.5% fee that I am charged and also the GVTBTC binance rate.
I understand that liquidity can be an issue therefore the Quote should include the orderbook values on the GVTBTC bid side therefore the investor and or the manager can get the best idea of the actual BTC/ETH/USDT that will be deposited into the program/fund.
