How do you close a fund

tankindustries59 3 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 3 years ago 1

Can’t seem to close the fund I made.  How do I go about that.

Answer

Dear Client,

If you would like to close a fund from a desktop, then please proceed to your Dashboard - Trading. Then choose the Fund and press the 3-dot button on the top right part of the Fund's plate and choose "Open settings". Scroll the page down till the end and you will see a "Close Fund" red button.

If you would like to close a fund from a mobile device, then please proceed to the "Manage Fund" section, scroll down the page and you will see a "Danger zone" toggle. It opens a section, where you can close your fund.

Best Regards,

Genesis Vision Team.

Social token

Scorpion Investor 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

"Social tokens" are the next big thing. Remuneration for social trading ??? Wouldn't it help both traders to sign up and the token to increase in price?!? The social token would lead to complete decentralization for me ... Tokenomics vary depending on the creator's goals, but they all have one thing in common; all participants have financial exposure and participate in growth. Also, what if traders via GVT / GV could create their own social token within the platform? He could have more investment / investor income if he performed well and was chosen for his rating ... It is not the same, but it is similar. As far as I know, the idea originally was that you could buy and sell "stock" of a manager with GVT when it said in the middle of a program period. This was pretty cool as it could open up opportunities to buy manager "stock" when they've taken a big dip cheaply (as people may want to get out of the program!). This could always be done for GVT owners ... so that there is not always a massive sale of the asset ... It could also be used when someone invests in a manager with GVT and is sold to fund their program. Add more features. Something like "Options" on managers would also be fun. Thank you for listening. I'd love to hear from you. Good job.

Allow 5% daily reallocation for a fund if it's value reaches $50,000 +

Orion 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

Allow 5% daily reallocation for a fund if it's value reaches $50,000 +
7.5% if value more than $100,000 +

Daily limits as is are too slow to take advantage of this highly volatile market.
Allow more established funds more leniency when it comes to daily reallocation.

If I lose $10k in a fund in 1 day because of allocation limits that's not good.

Fund structure asset links

Blaine 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

In the GV app under fund>structure the assets are listed alongside the target allocations. I would personally love to see those asset tickets hyperlinked to the assets homepage website. Allows for seamless investor research, saves time, adds consumer security. Google and other search engine platforms sometimes have risky links or difficult to find information relative to some assets. Just a thought. Cheers guys.

Social scrolling is not smooth

vikashait 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

The new social feature is a great addition to the existing arsenal. One thing I noticed that after this update, yoiu guys added lazy loading in all the pages which are good but on the downside, the scroll is not smooth and flickers which give the bad impression that site performance is not good. Please restore natural scrolling and probably load the only images on show. Thank you

add investor performance chart on the dashboard

Олег Корниенко 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

I want to see changes in my investment portfolio over specified time periods. At the moment, I only have performance in three indicators: day, week, month. This is not enough.

I also ask that when making new funds in the investment. This did not increase my profit on the chart. I want to see net profit or net loss from my funds like a Fund profit chart.

support Gvtprogressbot Twitter bot

gunjang 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

Many of us really like Twitter @Gvtprogressbot daily update on user count, programs and AUM. But I think it is probably outdated as it might not be reflecting true count and not sure if developer who built this around anymore to enhance it.

My suggestion would be to GVT team has to enhance it by updating the endpoint API which bot is using for computation . And if same API is used at other place then instead of using the same API inside platform create a separate API with different name and use that. This way bot can be kept running like this publishing current status everyday.

Idea - Chart Progams/Funds Against Each Other

Jacob 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

Hi,

I think it would be useful to compare various funds/programs using the chart to get a visual on how they are performing relative to each other over a selected timeframe.

I'm not sure how you can add this to the platform, but it is just an idea I had when I was attempting to see how my funds have been tracking comparatively.

Thank you for your time.

GV Funds Weekly Challenge - Amendment to Time Frame

Jacob 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

Hi,

I am proposing to amend the start date of the weekly challenge to be fixed to the completion date of the prior weekly challenge. If it is set this way then it will be easier to see who is actually leading the challenge, rather than the % profit continually changing due to a rolling period and having the prior weekly challenge impacting results until the last second when it clicks over to the next weekly challenge.

This means that each fund shown in the challenge will start at 0% on Thursday's.

Let me know If you need me to clarify this further.

Thank you for your time.

Idea - Random Referral System

Jacob 4 years ago updated by Genesis Vision Support 4 years ago 1

Hi,

This is a general idea for early supporters of the Genesis Vision platform that don't have a network of followers to gain substantial referral rewards. I would like to propose the use of a random referral system to run in alongside the current referral system (which is great!)

The random referral system is for when a new user signs up to the platform without a referral link. You then randomly assign this new user to an existing user selected from a pool on the platform that holds a minimum amount of GVT. The new user could either come in as a level 1 referral, or you could add say a level 3 referral with its own conditions.

Thank you for your time.
